What is the relationship between hermit crab/snail shell?

What is a hermit crab? Also, are hermit crab and snail shells related? PLEASE explain!!!!

Hemmm, I'll try to explain a little according to what I know, hehehe.

The hermit crab and snail shell have a symbiotic mutualism relationship, in which the hermit crab benefits without affecting the snail shell. This relationship benefits hermit crabs, one of which is that they can use the shell as a shelter.
